Wedding season is underway, get ready to create looks that will be captured and viewed for years to come. Typically, bridal looks are soft, on the natural side, and stay for hours on end. Sigma PRO Ambassador Lynn Austin shared this bridal look with us where she enhanced the bride’s natural beauty while kicking her everyday look up a few notches.
“The bride requested a natural glam for her wedding day, she didn’t want any bright colors and wanted to stay in the neutral brown family for her eyes. I recommended we add a black shadow in the outer corners of her eye to add dimension, especially if she wanted her eyes to pop for photos. She requested to have her eyes speak to the crowd and I feel like we accomplished that with my amazing Sigma products.” –Lynn Austin

Sigma PRO is excited to announce the launch of our Sigma PRO Brand Ambassador program for 2016. Our first artist is Sidory, you may have seen her work in our newsletters, blog posts, and splashed across our social media pages. She is a Washington D.C. based makeup artist working on celebrities, TV and film sets, fashion and print spreads, commercials, and corporate event makeup. Her resume includes a multi-faceted range of clients like the Wall Street Journal, NPR, McDonalds, Bravo TV Network, Proctor & Gamble, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Wheelhouse Entertainment, USO, Caroline Herrera and the Associated Press just to name a few.
Sidory began her journey into makeup artistry 15 years ago. However, her early career goals began as an artist but could not live on a starving artist’s salary. She is a self-taught makeup artist, learning both sides of the business from a retail/training and artistry standpoint. Sidory began working for Philosophy Cosmetics, specializing in some color cosmetics but mainly skincare at the time and eventually recruited to MAC Cosmetics for building a good business door. While working for MAC she became a trainer for all the artists all over the east coast. After a long career perfecting her craft, she decided to work for herself and the rest is history.
Throughout 2016, we’ll be showcasing Sidory’s work as well as some of her tips and tricks on our blog, social media, and newsletters.
